Llyod George Nedrick aka "George Nedrick" aka "Llyod Nedrick" was born on November 23, 1929, in Jamaica, West Indies to Thomas Nedrick Jr. and Ina Nedrick nee Riley. He worked in Jamaica for the Department of Lands for about twelve years. He also worked for many years as a wood craftsman building furniture. George migrated to the United States and lived in the Bronx, New York, where he died. History states that the first knowledge of the Nedrick Family in the Island of Jamaica was Teacher and Headmaster Thomas Nedrick Sr., who was a headmaster of the parochial school in the District of Cascade, in the Parish of Hanover. Thomas Nedrick Sr. and his wife migrated from Haiti with their three children, two sons and a daughter, Aunt Mae.
He is survived by his sister Glady, daughters Sharon (deceased 4/23/23), Heather, Sharmain, Edna, two sons (1 prior to marriage and one during his second marriage), grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
