Obituary of Lois Donovan

Lois C. Donovan, 90, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Water's Edge Assisted Living, Palm City.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she had been a resident of Palm City for many years.

Mrs. "D" was the founder of Black River Farms and Ranch, in Croswell, Michigan, a horse camp for girls. She touched many girls hearts and made a big cifference in their lives.

Survivors include her daughters, Renee Ciferri and her husband Michael Ciferri Sr. of Palm City and Lydia Donovan of Croswell, Michigan; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

There will a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
