Obituary of Lois Sodokoff

Lois Sodokoff, 80, of Harbour Ridge, Palm City, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Watersedge Extended Care Facilty, Palm City.

Born in Uniontown, PA, she had been a permanent resident at Harbor Ridge for the past 11 years. Prior to that time she resided in Greenwich, CT. She and her husband were one of the original owners at Harbour Ridge since 1984.

Lois received her Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 1957. She was a member of Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club and Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich. An avid duplicate bridge player, she belonged to the Khatib Bridge Club in Stuart, Florida, and participated with Harbour Ridge's Inter-Club Bridge Team. She also enjoyed tennis, swimming and the nine hole women's golf group.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lois is survived by her husband Howard Sodokoff of Palm City; her sons, Larry Sodokoff and Scott Sodokoff and her grandchildren, Spencer, Jessica, Rachel, Justin and Jason Sodokoff, all of Greenwich, CT; and her brother, Miles Cohen, of Eden Prairie, MN.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, with Rabbi Matthew Durbin of Temple Beit HaYam officiating.

In addition, a reception celebrating Lois will be held in Greenwich sometime in the near future.
