Loretta Diamonde, 84, died April 18 ^th , 2023.

Loretta, daughter of Loretta and John Bergen, Sr., passed peacefully on April 18 ^th .

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 15 years, Ralph Diamonde, and her ex-husband, Harry Stage, as well as her younger sister Mary Lis.

Loretta is survived by her brother John Bergen, Jr., her two daughters Lori (Dave) Hylton and Carolyn (Peter) Brada, her stepchildren Ron (Marilyn) Diamonde and Kim Diamonde, her 11 grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren.

She was employed with Martin County for 14 years, first in Public Works and then in the Blake Library until her retirement in 2008. Loretta lived a full life and was an extraordinarily kind and empathetic person, beloved by family and friends alike. A devout Catholic throughout her life, she always cared deeply for her family and friends and did anything she could to help everyone around her. She was the type of person to get between a group of kids bullying someone and scold them until they stopped. Loretta was a soul that can never be replaced and will be missed dearly by everyone who loved her, but may those left behind take comfort in the knowledge that she's now at peace with the Lord and has joined everyone waiting for her in Heaven. Her legacy is a family that loves each other dearly and will always support each other through everything that comes their way.

For her loved ones: Remember her when a nice breeze pushes at your hair and moves the wind chimes to ring, when a butterfly flits lazily past, and when a bird sings its beautiful song. Know she's watching over all of us.
