Obituary of Lou Ella White

Lou Ella Tabb White, 96, of Port St Lucie, died December 24, 2009. Born November 5, 1913 in Bay City, TX she grew up in Oklahoma. After her marriage, she and her husband moved throughout the United States and Europe for 44 years always calling Tulsa, OK their home until 1979, when retirement brought them to Port St Lucie, FL.

A thirty-year member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Jensen Beach, Lou was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her son, Jack O. White and daughter-in-law, Darlene White of PSL, along with her son-in-law, Ray Kenworthy of PSL; grandson, Arthur Kenworthy of Atlanta, GA; three granddaughters, Kathy White of PSL, Sue Hunton of Hobe Sound, and Tammy Jacobs of Bay City, TX along with their respective spouses; Randy Hunton and Dale Jacobs. In addition she is survived by eight great-grand-children: Scott Auger, Christine Persick, Ansley Kenworthy, Erik Kenworthy, Devon Kenworthy, Melissa Hunton, Brittany Hunton, and Zachary Hunton plus two great-great-grandsons: Glynn Auger and Dallas Persick. She is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Duane O. White; daughter, Rochella Kenworthy; and grandson, Mike Kenworthy.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM December 29, 2009 at Forest Hills Funeral Home Chapel - Palm City Chapel with services at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael Sims, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
