In loving memory of Lucille Claire Gadoury, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker and nurse.

She was born in Lincoln, Rhode Island on January 1, 1932, to Gertrude and Albert Courtemanche, and passed away on January 26, 2025, in Stuart, Florida. She married James Paul Gadoury on February 7, 1953, in Manville, Rhode Island. They had 6 children. In 1972 they moved to Boca Raton, Florida, then spent a few years in Pensacola, and spent their final years in Stuart, Florida.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband James Paul Gadoury, her son Charles Normand, grandson Ryan Michael, her sisters Rita and Jean, and her brother Normand.

She is survived by her daughters Rachel (Mark deceased), Elaine, Anne, Lucie (Thomas), and Joyce (Peter). Grandchildren, Stephanie (Sterling) Slechta, Nicholas (Jessica) Serre, Lisa (Josh) Weens, Austin Grant, Michael Magnum, Charles (Megan) Ortner, Natalie (Ethan) Brown, Melissa (Evan) Gleaves, Bentley Tuttle, and Kristin Ortner.

She attended Rhode School of Nursing and earned her nursing degree. She enjoyed making crafts with her daughters and grandchildren. She loved flowers, growing orchids, playing Bunco and Mahjong. She was a member of the Women's Guild and a past president. She enjoyed helping with donut Sundays after mass, helping in the church office with mailings, and with other church functions.

A visitation will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City from 8:30 am - 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
