Obituary of Lucille Ricks
Lucille M. Ricks, 97, of Palm City, Florida, died May 25, 2012 at home.
Born in Catskill, New York, she had been a resident of Florida for 46 years originally from Saugerties, New York and was a resident of Palm City for over 20 years.
Before retiring she was a residential and commercial interior decorator.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Holy Redeemer Women's Guild. She also coordinated Bingo at the church for many years. She was a Columbiette with the Knights of Columbus Council 6211, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 126 and the Deborah Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son Charles M. Ricks III of Pahrump, Nevada; fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles M. Ricks Jr. a daughter Janice Anita Carney, a son Philip T. Ricks and five brothers.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on May 27, 2012 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel with a vigil prayer service at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on May 28, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
