Obituary of Lydia McPhun

Lydia Gotay McPhun, 54, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away August 25, 2014 at her home. She was born in New York, New York and she has been a resident of Pompano Beach for 6 years, coming from Pembroke Pines, FL. She moved to Florida from Brooklyn, NY.

She had been an insurance claims processor.

She was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include her husband Harland Mc Phun of Pompano Beach; her daughter, Erin Lindo and her husband Brian of Congers, GA; her son Ryan Mc Phun and his wife Elissa of Miramar, FL; her step-children Jason McPhun and Travis McPhun; six grandchildren, Chloe, George, Joshua, Reanna, Ryan and Elysia; her mother, Maria Gotay of New York, NY; her brother Victor Gotay Jr and his wife Wendy of Pennsylvania; her aunts, Ruth Casillas and her husband George of Otisville, NY and Esther Hernandez and her husband, Cruz "Tony" of Port St. Lucie and her uncle Dr. Robert DeJesus and his wife Darlene of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Gotay Sr.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. The funeral service will be at 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow immediately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
