Obituary of Lynda Makowski

Lynda L. Makowski, 73, of Stuart, passed away October 7, 2015 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart. She was born in Franklin Square, NY and had been a resident of Stuart for 38 years, having moved from Huntington, Long Island, NY. She had been a preschool teacher, and was the manager at various Beauty Salons on the Treasure Coast, before retirement. A great passion in her life was singing, dancing and performing. Lynda performed professionally in New York and was also a part of several productions at the Barn Theatre in Stuart. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Makowski and his partner, Jeff Robey of Los Angeles, CA and Scott Makowski and his wife, Lauren, of Pembroke Pines, FL; grandchildren, Kylie Makowski and Lexie Makowski, and sister, Audrey Kay of Laguna Nigel, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Makowski in 2000 and her parents, Anthony and Helyn Macaluso.

Lynda was a loving and giving mother, wife, grandmother and friend, and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation: 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Monday, October 12, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stuart.

Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
