Marcy Russell, 89, of Palm City, Florida died April 5, 2019 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida after a brief illness.

Born in Ellaville, Georgia, she had been a resident of Palm City for over 40 years.  Marcy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker; she loved basketball and the Atlanta Braves, she was also an avid fisherwoman.  She was married to Alfred Russell for 42 years before his passing in 2012.   Survivors include son Ronald Owens, of Palm City; and daughter Ann Simmons of Gainesville, Georgia as well as four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Russell and two sons Greg Owens and Darrell Owens.

SERVICES:  There will be a graveside memorial at 1:00 PM on April 13 ^th , which would have been Marcy's 90 ^th birthday, at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. An online registry is available at: www.foresthillspalmcityfl.com .
