Marcia S. Eckert born 11/18/36 with her twin sister in Angola, Indiana.  Family moved to Richwood, Ohio when she was 4 years old.  Soon after that the family moved to Marion, Ohio where she lived until 1959.  Marcia graduated from Harding High School (1954).

In 1959 Marcia and her sister moved to Albany, NY where she worked as a secretary at A. J. Eckert Co., Inc. In 1974 she married Edward J. Eckert, Sr. who was then President of A. J. Eckert Co. Inc.,  They moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1977.  Her husband died in WPB on 1/12/87.  She returned to Albany, NY and lived there until 1996 when she and her sister moved to St. Lucie West, Florida.

She was interested in most sports and participated in golf and bowling.  She served on the Board of LaSalle School for Boys in Albany, NY from 1988 – 1995.  She was a member of St. Mary's church in Albany, NY and St Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  She volunteered at St. Lucie Medical Center

She is survived by Edward J. Eckert, Jr., Gerald Eckert (Susan), Carol Cawley (Peter) and Suzanne Grande (Greg) step-children, several step- grandchildren and step  great grandchildren.
