Marco F. Savarese, 81, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he had been a resident of Palm City for 9 years coming from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army.

Prior to retiring was the owner/operator of MFS Securities, a brokerage firm on Wall Street, New York City. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his fianc, Carla Weyrauch; his sons, Mark Savarese and his wife Kordula and John Savarese and his wife Linda; his daughter, Jacqueline Savarese-Bucci and her husband Robert, all of Palm City; his brother, Vincent Savarese and his wife Anne of Amityville, NY; eight grandchildren, Erica, Stefanie, Paige, Elexcia, Mark Jr., John Jr., Marco and Elizabeth and one great grandchild, Mileena. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gabe Savarese and his sister, Florie Savarese.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City. Entombrment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
