Margaret Ann "Peggy" Smith, 79, of Palm City, FL, passed away on June 1, 2016 at her home.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she had been a resident of Palm City for over 25 years coming from Pittsburgh. She also had resided in Milwaukee, WI and Miami, FL.
Peggy was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon, class of 1958.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City, where she was a member of the choir. She had been a volunteer for Safe Space and was an avid golfer, bridge player and Marlin fan.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bill Smith; her children, Sue Graham and her husband Casey of Pittsburgh, Dan Smith and his wife Susie and Kathy Heller and her husband Gary all from Milwaukee and Meg Best of Atlanta; her siblings, Patricia Dillman of Pittsburgh, Dr. James Coyne MD and his wife Kate of Bernardsville, NJ, Dr. Eleanor T. Coyne PhD of Laughlintown, PA and Dr. Mark X. Coyne MD and his wife Judi of Jefferson City, MD and her ten grandchildren, who called her "Grammy" and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
