Obituary of Margaret Weir

Margaret "Rose" Weir, 68, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on January 2, 2016 at Tradition Medical Center, Port St. Lucie.

Born in Jamaica, WI, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 8 years coming from Brooklyn, NY.

Before retiring she was a secretary working for the government of Jamaica.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Hector Weir of Port St. Lucie; her son, Woody Weir of Port St. Luce; her daughters, Karen Weir of Port St. Lucie and Kemeal Weir of Brooklyn, NY; her sisters, Lorna Strachan of Manchester, England and Ethlyn Henry of Jamaica; her brothers, Joseph Hyatt of London, England and Bugzie Clark of Jamaica and her grandchildren, Leandre Williams and Omoro Weir.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2916 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
