Maria Tameron, 72, of Miami Beach, Florida passed away after a debilitating stroke that took her from us to soon. Maria, formerly known as Maria Victoria ("Vicky" to all her friends and family) Rubio was born on May 26, 1949 in Habana, Cuba. She came to the United States in 1961 at with her parents Rafael Rubio, Sarah Martinez and her brother Juan Rubio all of whom preceded her.

She spent her youth in New Jersey first with her parents and then with her children's father Mario Fernandez.  With him she traveled extensively and enjoyed all the comrodarie bestowed upon an insurance salesman spouse and their close group of friends.

Vicky moved to Florida with her second husband Omar Tameron, whom as since preceded her, and they both enjoyed their time at the beach and extensive vacations with her mother Sarah Rubio.

All her many friends whom where her neighbors loved her very much and appreciated all she did for them and their community.  Her unselfish acts of charity and kindness that she bestowed upon her friends and even strangers showed everyone what humanity is all about.  Even cooking for them when they were ill and cleaning her neighbors balconies.

She leaves behind her daughter Helen Fernandez-Juliano, son-in-law Anthony Juliano, grandson Salvatore Juliano, granddaughter Marie Juliano, her son Mario Fernandez, daughter-in-law Natalie Fernandez, granddaughter Mia Fernandez and grandson Mario Fernandez.
