Obituary of Marian Hamm
Marian Hamm, 93, of Jensen Beach, FL, died April 30, 2009 at Tiffany Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Born in Ghent, Belgium, she had lived in Martin County for over 30 years coming from Norwalk, Connecticut.
She had been a secretary for many years with Nash Engineering Company in Norwalk.
She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach. She also had been a member of several craft clubs in the area.
Survivors include sons Earle L. Hamm of Jensen Beach and Richard A. Hamm of Monroe, Connecticut and a daughter Marian L. Overson of East Hampton, Connecticut; a sister Josephine Hamm of Norwalk; brothers, Heinrich Seger of Norwalk and Pater Seger of Bronx, New York; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earle P. Hamm in 1990 and a daughter Beverly Ann Grenier and a sister Margaret Verity.
SERVICES: Visitation will be on May 8, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Forest Hills Funeral Home - Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on May 9, 2009 at St. Martin de Pores Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
