Marie Vita Anderson, 77, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House, in Stuart.

Born in Italy, she had been a resident of Stuart for 38 years coming from New York.

Prior to retiring, she was the owner of Marie's Deli in Stuart.

Survivors include her children, Donna Miro of Massapequa, New York, Susan Fleury of Stuart, Laura Jester of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Leonard Anderson and his wife Monica of Jensen Beach, Florida, her brother Frank Verga and his wife Ann of Pennsylvania; her sister Josephine Christopher of Michigan; five grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Anderson in 2001.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City with a service at 12 PM. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
