Obituary of Marie Pettit

Marie Pettit, 63, of Stuart, passed away July 19, 2015. She was born in Long Island, NY and had been a resident of Stuart since 1989 having moved from Wading River, Long Island, NY. She had been a senior clerk typist in the Social Services field. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City, the ASPCA, PETA and the Police Benevolent Association of Nassau County.

She is survived by her son, Gary Pettit of Palm City; sister, Angela Duryea of Long Island, NY; mother, Madeline Curcio of Palm City; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Salvatore Curcio and brother, Joseph Curcio.

Visitation: 5:00PM-7:00PM, Friday, July 24, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00AM, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
