Obituary of Marilyn Vocke
Marilyn Hadley Vocke, 72 died November 15, 2007 at her home. She was born in Chicago, IL., and lived in Stuart for 31 years coming from Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She worked in sales at Forests Men shop and The Village Bootery, both in Stuart, and most recently worked at Sandhill Cove in Palm City.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Albert in 1991 and her son Kurt in 1993.
Survivors include her daughters Linda (James) Clark, and Paula (Charles) Hoffa of Palm City, Grandchildren Lauren (D.J.) Brunner of Stuart, Travis Clark, and Ryan Hoffa. Sister Nannette Smith of Chicago and sisters-in-law Sandy Kosko of Landsdale, PA. and Doris Vocke of West Mifflin, PA., and five nieces and two nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices or the American Cancer Society.
A celebration of life will be held at family home at a later date. An interment will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park and is private to the family.
