Obituary

Marjorie H. Coughtry of Palm City, FL passed away August 30, 2022.

Mrs. Coughtry was born in Troy, New York,  the daughter of Marguerite and LeRoy Holt.  She was predeceased by her brother Garrett Holt.  She graduated from Catholic Central High School and went on to Russell Sage College before marrying the love of her life William Coughtry 68 years ago.

Marjorie was very supportive in the education and social development of her five children.  In addition, she taught them to be leaders and loving supportive friends to others in our society.  Prayer time with Bill her husband each evening lead to the peace enjoyed by the Coughtry family. She will be greatly missed.

Marjorie also served the Lord by preparing the Sacristy linens for Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for 30 years.

Marjorie is survived by her husband William (Bill), her daughters Linda (Kate) Mansfield, Diane Mulopulos, Mary Basler, Ella Morais, and son, Richard Coughtry.  In addition, she was blessed with eight grandchildren: Sam, Jack, Luke, Noah, Hannah, Nicholas, Josiah, and Alex.

Visitation will be at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City (2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990) 9:00 am to 10:30 am on September 7 th .  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated September 7 th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (1454 SW Mapp Rd., Palm City, FL 34990) at 11:00 am.
