Mark L Cassidy age 93 years old passed away, August 4, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and children.  He was born on March 22, 1928 in Bronx, NY to Rena and Mark Cassidy.

He grew up in Shrub Oak, NY and joined the Navy as a Seabee at age 17 and served in Quaduland.

After the Navy he became a NY State Trooper and then a Metropolitan Life Insurance Manager and moved to Patchogue, NY on Long Island.

In 1954 he married June Dorn and had their children Mark III (Chris) , Linda (Bill), Sean (Linda) and Tara (Nabil).

Also, extremely blessed with five loving grandchildren, Mark IV, Bryan, Sabrina, Michelle and Sean II. And four Great grandchildren.

Mark was the owner of Cassidy's Stuart Ice and also Stuart Beverage and Corner Pantry.

He was a Mason Knights of Columbus Kiwanis Moose, Elk and Lion.

Mark & June enjoyed riding in their motor home across country.

He had a wonderful Irish humor, always telling a joke, Loved his family, all gathered together on his last day. Absolutely  loved by all his nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his sister, Helen Winter of Putnam, Valley, NY.

Mark was a best friend to June for 66 years. A outstanding and loving father to his children and a friend to all that new him.
