Obituary of Martha Carver
Martha M. Carver, 75, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Martin Medical Center, Stuart, FL.
Born in Alabama, she lived in the area for over 56 years, residing in Palm City, FL for the past 11 years.
She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother and a best friend. She was of the Presbyterian Faith.
Survivors include her husband and partner, John F. "Jack" Carver of Palm City; her daughter, Debra Mercer of Palm City; her son, T. Graham Carver and his wife Lori of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, granddaughter Whitney Cook and her husband Jim Cook of New York, NY, Taylor Mercer of Palm City, Cameron Carver and Colin Carver, both of Nashville, TN. She had eight sisters and two brothers, Becky Bradley of Senoia, GA, Kay Williams and Brenda Loper of Homosassa, FL, Margaret Simandl of Saltillo, TN, Robbie June Hicken of West Palm Beach, FL; and brothers, James Mathis and John Mathis, both of Bartow, FL. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Frances Williams, Melba Mathis and Marvina Hauber.
SERVICES: There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on February 1, 2014 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.
