Obituary of Martin Tucker
Mr. Martin "Marty" Tucker, 94, of Palm City, FL died August 4, 2011.
He was born on February 11, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in Palm City for 17 years, coming from Miami.
He was a self-employed architectural woodworker, craftsman and author.
He served in the 5th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army under General Patton in World War II. He was a decorated war hero and recipient of a Silver Star and France's Normandy Medal of the Jubilee of Liberty.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mitzie Tucker of Palm City.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
