Mary A. Johnson, 97, of Port St. Lucie, passed away July 22, 2019 at Tradition Medical Center.  She was born in Babylon, NY and relocated to Fort Lauderdale in the early 1950's.  She worked as the Head Baker in the Broward County School  District.  She continued her education and then was the Payroll Administrator for the Broward Community College.  Mary and her husband Arthur relocated to Port St. Lucie in 1989, where Mary retired.  She was a founding member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Ruth Denny and Clara Drewry and brother, Phil Aardsma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur G. Johnson in 2013 and her daughter, Lynette Ryan in 2016.

Visitation will be 10 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.

A funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 AM in the Chapel.

Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
