MARY ANN BETZ, age 88, of Stuart, Florida passed away at the Martin Nursing & Restorative care in Stuart, Florida on February 5, 2009. Ms. Betz was born on June 1, 1920 in Leicester, NY to William C. and Anna (MacDonald) Betz. She came to this area in 1987 from Buffalo, NY. Ms. Betz was a clerk for an optical Corporation for many years. She was of Christian faith.
Survivors include nieces and nephews; Donna Betz Sweeney of NC, Karen, Bill and George Betz of NY and 2 grand nieces. Ms. Betz is also survived by her long time friend and care-giver since 1987, Mrs. Vivian J. Dervin of Stuart, FL.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2009 at Forest Hills Palm City Chapel, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City Florida, 34990. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillspalmcityfunerals.com
