Obituary of Mary Jane Burkart
Mary Jane Burkart, 83, of Palm City, passed away February 15, 2007 at Hospice of the Treasure Coast, Stuart. She was born July 18, 1923 in Ferndale, MI. She had been a resident of Palm City since 1986, moving from Keene, NH. Mary Jane was a member of Pipers Landing County Club and Orchard Lake Country Club in Michigan. She was a homemaker, and a Presbyterian.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Walter Burkart of Palm City and daughter, Michele Bragg of Palm City.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Burkart.
A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 19, 2007 in the Chapel at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, with the Rev. Dr. Ray Gamble officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997, in Mary Janes memory.
