Obituary of Mary Dedlow
Mary Margaret Dedlow, 74, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Haven Hospices E. T. York Care Center in Gainesville.
Born in Homer, IL, she moved to Gainesville from Hobe Sound in 2006, where she had lived for 34 years. She lived in Florida for 50 years.
She was a retired computer programmer and had worked for Indian River Community College.
She was of the Christian faith and a former member of First Baptist Church of Hobe Sound, Hobe Sound Christian Fellowship, Faith Bible Church of Jupiter; and Evangel Bible Church of Melbourne. She was active with Child Evangelism Fellowship.
She was a former volunteer with Girl Scouts of America.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star.
She received two Associate degrees from Indian River Community College. She was a Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Beta Lambda.
Survivors include her daughters, Rosellen Dedlow of Gainesville, FL and Kathlena Marie Flowers of Quitman, GA; and two grandchildren, Henry & Georgia Flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Eugene Dedlow, by her sister Wanda Dale Danner Kilgore, by her brother Forrest Dean Danner, Sr., and by her grand-daughter Patricia Elaine Flowers,

Services: Calling hours will be 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, July 20, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, July 21, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Hobe Sound with Rev. Charles Philips officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
