Obituary of Mary Ritzel
Mary M. Ritzel, age 89, of Stuart, Florida, died at her residence on December 23, 2007. Mrs. Ritzel was born on August 14, 1918 in Baltimore, MD to John M. and Caroline (Grill) Miller. She came to this area in 1978. Mrs. Ritzel was predeceased by an infant daughter Suzanne and her husband Peter A. Ritzel in 2004. She was of Catholic faith and was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, FL.
Survivors include her daughter Adele (Roger) Barker of Stuart, FL; two sons, Peter A. Jr. (Geraldine) Ritzel of Baltimore, MD and David A. (Dolleen) Ritzel of Tallahassee, FL. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 4, 2007 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE US Hwy #1, Hobe Sound, FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com.
