Obituary of Mary Rogers

Mary H. Rogers, 91, of Palm City, formerly of Cleveland,OH passed away January 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Kurov, Czechoslovakia on December 3, 1922 to George and Anna Host. Mary came to the United States in 1927, and settled in Cleveland, OH. Mary was a secretary for several different companies in Cleveland and Miami. She was most recently employed at Palm City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the activities department. She enjoyed being a part of the quilting club at Redeemer Lutheran in Stuart. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne James of Palm City, and her son David James Host of Miami; granddaughters, Ericka Lynn Curley of Boston and Felicia Rene Curley of Palm City; grandson, Galen Clarke Curley of Palm City; great grandson, William Anthony Perry of Boston; sister, Olga Schmidt of Cleveland, OH and brothers, John Host of Cleveland, OH and Rudy Host of Seattle, WA. Graveside Service: 1:00PM Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
