Obituary of Mary Russell
Mary Frances Russell, 86, of Palm City, died October 6, 2009 at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. She was born in Scranton, PA, and had been a resident of Florida since 1971, having moved from Long Island. She was a graduate of: Cleveland High School in Scranton, PA; Marywood University in Scranton and Hofstra University in Long Island. She was a teacher before retirement. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and a member of the AAUW. She was an avid bridge player and golfer.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Russell of Palm City; daughters, Mary Lee Giordano of Palm Coast and Romeyn Foy of Davie; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Romeyn Gerrity of Tampa.
Visitation will be 5-8PM, Friday, October 9, 2009 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
An entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
