Obituary of Mary Schwartzel

Mary Bond (Guthrie) Schwartzel, resident of Palm City, FL, and a previous resident of Rochester, PA, went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2007.

Mrs. Schwartzel was born in Kittanning, PA. She was a member of the Palm City Presbyterian Church, Palm City, FL and volunteered for the American Red Cross in Stuart. She was also a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in New Brighton, PA, and of the First Presbyterian in Rochester, PA. Her beloved husband, Robert C. Schwartzel, predeceases her. She is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Ronald) Thompson of Lawrenceville, PA; Robin (Mark) Henn of Palm City, FL; three sisters, Marie Brobeck, Jane Mine, Mae Downs, four brothers, Wayne, Glen Donnie, Duane Guthrie, three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Cory, Cody, Casey Henn; several nieces and nephews.

A private viewing will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, FL. A memorial service will be at 11:00AM, Friday, March 16th at the Palm City Presbyterian Church in Palm City, FL. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Palm City Presbyterian Church in Palm City, FL or Twin Tiers Christian Church in Painted Post, NY.
