Obituary of Mary Thorpe
Mary C. Thorpe, 80, of Stuart, passed away February 19, 2007 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart. She was born November 25, 1926 in Kinston, NC. She had been a resident of Stuart for 30 years, moving from Feasterville, PA, and a former resident of Philadelphia. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City, and Resurrection Church in Feasterville, PA, volunteered in many capacities.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frederick W. Thorpe of Stuart; sons, Frederick W. Thorpe (Renee) of Clearmont, Craig A Thorpe (Holly) of Casselberry, Keith T. Thorpe (Joy) of Stuart; daughter-in-law, Elaine Thorpe of Port St. Lucie, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Thorpe.
Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 PM, Thursday, at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30AM, Friday, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St. Stuart, FL 34997, www.tchospices.org, in Marys memory.
Entombment will follow services in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
