Obituary of Mary Warren
Mary McCarthy Warren, of Stuart, died Wednesday, March 25th at Martin Memorial Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1944, in New York, NY.
Mary was the daughter of the late John and Delia McCarthy. She was a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College.
Mary's career in advertising included 15 years at Doyle, Dane, Bernbach (currently Omnicom) as Account Supervisor on such accounts as Mobil Oil, & Hershey Foods. After moving to Stuart in 1995, Mary changed careers and became a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Forced to leave because of health, Mary did later return to work at United Way of Martin County, as Project Coordinator of the Character Counts! Program.
Mary was a member of the Yacht and Country Club of Stuart, where she spent her energies trying to play golf as well as her husband plays.
Mary is survived by her husband of 25 years, E. Latimer Warren, III (Latty) and their "angel dog" Hogan. Also, Mary's cousins Michael and Chris Devaney, Francis and Maureen Devaney, Maureen and Dick Bateman all residing in England. Her "adopted" loving family, sister-in-law Kerry and her brother-in-law Tom Sheridan and their children and grandchildren.
Services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Cove Road in Stuart on Saturday, March 28th at 11am.
