Mary Louise Wilt, 85, passed away peacefully at St. Lucie Hospice House after a short illness on June 28, 2016.
Mary was born June 10, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the daughter of Frances Yaksic and Steven Volar and grew up in Lansingville. In 1956 she married Glenn Orville Wilt and moved to Nebo, in Struthers, where they raised their family and resided until moving to Florida in 1986.
She was a great daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt and friend. One of her greatest joys was to have friends and family gathered around her table eating, drinking and enjoying fellowship.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Denise Wilt-Wells and son, David (Kristi) Wilt, all of Port St. Lucie, FL, grandson Tyler Wells of Salem, Ohio and great-granddaughter, Mia Wells of Youngstown, Ohio. She also leaves behind step-grandson, Rich (Kellee) Skaggs of Warsaw, Indiana, step great-grandchildren, Erik, Tyler, Trey and Carlee, brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Dee Wilt and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn (1989), infant son, siblings Nick, Steve, Anne, Josephine and Helen, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dale and Carol Wilt.
Per Mary's wishes, there will be no services. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL with the love of her life.
