Obituary of Maryanne Busha
Mrs. Maryanne Busha died peacefully Wednesday evening under Hospice care.
Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1922, Mrs. Busha moved to Palm City from Avalon New Jersey in 1985. A graduate of Temple University in 1942 with a BS in Education and became a teacher. Soon after, she enlisted in the US Naval Reserves in 1943 and served until 1945 as a Lieutenant J.G. She was elected as Township Clerk for Mt. Laurel Township, New Jersey in 1970 and was owner/operator of the Harbor Fabric Shop in Stone Harbor, New Jersey 1974 - 1983.
Predeceased by her husband James Busha, brother Michael Busha, sister Mary Busha and sister-in-law Dorthy Busha, she is survived by her daughter Patti Busha of South Seaville NJ, son Michael J. Busha of Stuart FL, and daughter-in-law Pam Busha; grandchildren John Evans and Marissa Evans of South Seaville NJ, JJ Kuhn of Reading PA, Walker, Marshall and Max Busha of Stuart FL; and nieces Mimi Haggerty of Wallingford PA and Sandy Little of Wilton CT.
Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:00AM on Tuesday, January 29th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
