Obituary of Matthew Van Scoten

Matthew John Van Scoten, 5, died January 30, 2009 at home.

Born in Virginia Beach, VA, a member of a Navy family, he moved to Jacksonville, FL three years ago.

He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Heather Van Scoten of Jacksonville; brothers, Logan and Brandon Van Scoten of Jacksonville; paternal grandparents, Paul and Linda Van Scoten of Port Salerno; maternal grandparents, John and Sharon Campbell of Palm City; paternal great grandmother, Mildren Mickalauskas of Saylorsburg, PA.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be 4 PM to 7 PM, Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
