Obituary of Maxine Roe

Maxine Dixon Roe, 95, of Port St. Lucie, died June 24, 2008 at Emerald Healthcare, Port St. Lucie.

Born in Scotland, Illinois, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 28 years coming from Dana and Greenwood, Indiana.

She was a homemaker. She also was a cashier for over 15 years with Grab It Here, a supermarket in Cayuga, Indiana.

She was a member of Haven of Hope in Port St. Lucie Church.

Survivors include a son Stanley Roe of Port St. Lucie; a sister Wilma Gilbert of Scotland, Illinois; 5 grandchildren: Jeff (Terry) Roe, Bryan (Mandi) Roe, Susie Roe,Doug (Jennifer) Roe and Aaron (Julie) Roe and 12 great grandchildren: Kayla, Ashley, Quinn, Griffin, Tanner, Jeffrey, Jr., Aaron, Jr., Saige, Wyatt, Ellie, Brock and Brody.

She was preceded in death by her husband Merle Donovan Roe in 1992; a brother, Carl Dixon and sisters, Helen Dixon and Marjorie McCane.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM June 28, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. There will be a service at 1:30 PM June 28, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Robert Roach of Haven of Hope Church officiating.. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
