Maxwell Whalen of Stuart died on January 21, 2020 a few weeks after serious brain surgery.  He was born on January 3, 1991, the son of Lynn Fishstein and Leo Whalen.  Maxwell was a graduate of Southfork High School and he was a licensed home inspector.

Maxwell is survived by his parents, his brother Chance Whalen and his stepfather Harvey Fishstein.  Maxwell is also survived by his girlfriend Stephanie Liscio and their son Tristen Whalen.  He also leaves his maternal grandmother Eileen Owczarzak and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Maxwell was an avid surfer who loved the ocean.  In his last days, he spent the early mornings at the beach watching the waves.  It was a joyful, relaxing time for him.  Always in good spirits, Maxwell had a smile for everyone and he lit up every room he entered.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1454 SW Mapp Road Palm City FL., on Monday, January 27th at 10 A.M. Immediatley following mass, committal services will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park Palm City.
