Legentus Menes, 73, of Port St. Lucie, passed away June 15, 2018 at St. Lucie Hospice House in Fort Pierce.  He was born in Leogane, Haiti, and relocated to the United States in 1984, settling in Broward County. In 2016, he moved to Port St. Lucie. He had been a supervisor at the Marriott Hotel in Boca Raton before retirement.  He was a member of  Eglise Haitienne Bethanie Church in Port St. Lucie.  Menes loved to be around people and helping them whenever he was able.  He was an avid card and dominoes player in his spare time.

He is survived by his children, Marie LaFrance Noel (Evans) of Port St. Lucie, Jean Max Legentus (Andrelle) of Port St. Lucie, Manes Legentus (Miralda) of Boston, MA, Eudson Legentus (Julie) of Ft. Myers and Marie Lourdes Legentus of Haiti; his mother, Marie Therese Laurette Legentus of Ft.Lauderdale, siblings, Winel Legentus, Laurente Legentus, Guirlene  Legentus, Adeline Legentus, Feline Legentus, Treste Legentus, Mague Legentus and Evelyne Legentus; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother Wildon Legentus.

Visitation:  9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Eglise Haitienne Bethanie Church, 230 SW N. Wakefield Circle, Port St. Lucie, FL

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the church.

Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
