Obituary of Michael Bobko

Michael Bob D. Bobko, 83, of Palm City, went home to be with the Lord, July 11, 2007 at Martin Memorial Hospital South, in Stuart. He was born November 21, 1923 in Johnstown, PA. He had been a resident of Palm City since 1986, moving from Hollywood, FL. He attended Akron University. Bob workd for Eastern Airlines for over 40 years. After retiring from Eastern Airlines, he became a Deputy Sheriff in Martin County. He also was an avid Magician and a musician.

Bob was a former President of the Council of Virginia Gardens, FL and was a commissioner of the Little League Athletics also in Virginia Gardens. Bob was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gloria Bobko of Palm City; his son, Noel A. Bobko of Jensen Beach; and daughter, Mary A. Thomas of Palm City; and four grandchildren, Noel J. Thomas, Noel A. Bobko Jr, Kristen M. Thomas and Gloria Mary Marie Bobko.

Visitation will be 3:00 6:00 PM, Sunday at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.

A mass of Christian burial will be 12 Noon, Monday at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
