Obituary of Michael Bruno

Michael J. Bruno, 73, of Stuart, FL, died September 23, 2008 at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.

Born in Ansonia, CT, he had been a resident of Palm City, FL and Stuart, FL for 22 years coming from Oxford, CT.

During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Navy.

He received a BS in Business Administration from Quinnipiac Collage in Hampden, CT where he was inducted in to the colleges hall of fame in baseball and basketball.

Before retiring he was employed in the human resources department of United Technologies in Stuart.

He was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed to travel.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Nancy B. Bruno of Stuart; daughters Marsi Richter of Mountain Lakes, NJ and Dana Hastings of Farmington, CT; sons Michael A. Bruno of Stuart and Philip Bruno of Fort Myers, FL and 4 grandchildren.

SERVICES: Visitation will be September 27, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a service at 1:00 PM at New Hope Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, Palm City. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
