Michael J. Butler, 85, of Palm City. FL and Hampton Bays, NY, passed away on November 11, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach, FL

Born in Queens, NY, he had been a winter resident of Palm City of 17 years coming seasonally from Hampton Bays, NY.

He was a graduate and post graduate from St. John's University, Jamaica, NY, receiving his BA and JD degrees.

Before retiring he had been an attorney in New York.
Survivors include his wife. Mildred Butler; his son Michael W. Butler and his wife Barbara of Massapequa, NY; his daughters, Patricia Parkhurst of Massapequa, NY and Dr. Barbara Butler and her husband, Daniel Fermicola of Chevy Chase, MD and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Athas.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on November 14, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL.
