Michael John Cristoforo, 64, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on March 3, 2017, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones and left the Earth in peace.

Born and raised in New York City, he had been a resident of Palm City for 30 years. Even still, he remained an avid Yankees fan and passed his love for the Yankees and baseball, in general, on to his children. Michael was greatly involved in Martin County North Little League during his children's youth and was well-known and respected throughout the community.

Michael was a co-founder and former owner of Custom Auto Center in Stuart, Florida. He was passionate about his business and deeply cared of his employees and customers. Michael was also a man of many talents. He did it all, including writing country music played on the stations of Nashville to co-inventing a baseball device sampled by the Yankees.

He was also a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.

Despite all of the above, the thing that Michael was most proud of was his family. He was a dedicated family man who truly enjoyed spending every moment with his loved ones, especially his grandkids. Survivors include his wife of 38 years and love of his life, Jean Cristoforo; his children, Jean Sicoli and her husband, Peter; Louis Cristoforo and his wife, Lisa; Michael Cristoforo and his wife, Tiffany; and Thomas Cristoforo and his wife, Lucia. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren who adored their Pop Pop, his sister, Rose Falsetti and her husband, Al; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Michael frequently contributed to charitable foundations and had a strong passion for helping those in need. In this spirit, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Elev8Hope Foundation.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City, FL with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
