Obituary of Michael Dropko
Michael H. "Pop-Pop" Dropko, 94, of Stuart, Florida, died October 10, 2012 at Salerno Bay Manor, Stuart.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, he had been a resident of Stuart for over 16 years coming from Union, New Jersey.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army receiving a Bronze Star.
Before retiring he was county worker with Union County, New Jersey for over 25 years.
He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Hobe Sound and AMVETS.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lucy Dropko of Stuart; a son Paul Dropko and his wife Kathy of Manalapan, New Jersey; a daughter Carole Ann Kelleher of Palm City; two grandchildren Ron Kelleher and hsi wife Christina and Kristen Rusignuolo and four great-grandchildren, Zackery, Madison, Camron and Tyler.
