Michael Harry Goad passed away on May 10, 2019 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife Charlene Everett, son Matthew Goad, Matthew's wife Paige Goad, and Step daughter Taletha Salas. He is also survived by his two loving fur babies Sobe and Scuttlebutt and his best friend of 63 years, Nick Hidu.

He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War and received a purple heart. He was a fire fighter and EMT for Miami – Dade fire department for 33 years when he retired. For a short period of time he also worked on movie sets. He was an avid historical collector and enjoyed studying and collecting history. He loved his dogs and his family very much. One of the most important things that Mike wanted everyone to see and know was that he was a good man. Michael's personality was nothing less than unique and always knew how to brighten up a room. He loved to share stories of the past and exciting experiences that he had been through.
