It is with sadness that we share news of the passing of a CCHS member during the Christmas Holiday Season. Michael Gonzales, a 41-year-old paralegal living independently in Florida, peacefully passed away in his sleep.

Michael is fondly remembered as a kind, inclusive, funny, and dependable friend. He was an avid enthusiast of Dungeons and Dragons and World of Warcraft strategy games. Michael found joy in sharing conversations about his life, science, and politics. What set him apart was his genuine interest in understanding the perspectives and opinions of others, making each interaction meaningful.

Michael is deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will forever be cherished, and the impact of his warmth and sincerity will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
