Obituary of Michael Valenti

Michael Valenti, age 91, of Stuart Florida died on September 14, 2008 at the Treasure Coast Hospice. Mr. Valenti was born on October 30, 1916 in Africa. He came to this area in 1979 from Brick, NJ where he had lived for over 31 years. He was of catholic faith and was a parishioner of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL. Mr. Valenti was a retired machinist from General Motors, after many years of Service. He was predeceased by his wife Agata Valent in 2007 and a granddaughter Gena Marie LaPolla.

Survivors include two daughters; Patricia (Anthony LaPolla and Marie (Michael) Hickling both of Jensen Beach, FL, three granddaughters; Jennifer LaPolla, Jillian (Scott) McAfee, Michelle Jordan and one grandson Michael Hickling, four great-grandchildren; Jacob, Fiona and Jonathan McAfee and Tylar Marie Jordan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, FL. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Palm City Chapel, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL.
