Obituary of Mildred Blanchard

Age 79, longtime resident of Florida, formerly of New England, died on January 6, 2008 in Stuart, Florida. Mrs. Blanchard was born on January 6, 1929 in Augusta, Maine to Walter S. and E. Louise (Allen) Stone. She was a member of the VFW Womens Auxillary for over 40 years.

Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Clarence Everett Blanchard, two sons, Clarence Everett Blanchard, Jr. and Robert Allan Blanchard, two daughters; Susan Elaine Blanchard Powell and Mary Jane Cutler. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2008 at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. A visitation will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
