Obituary of Mildred Snedeker
Mildred Snedeker, 80, died Friday, February 2, 2007 at her residence in Stuart.
Born in Oswego County, NY, she has resided in Stuart for 32 years coming from Hobe Sound where she had resided for 13 years, coming from Sandy Creek, NY.
Prior to retirement she was a private duty Licensed Practical Nurse for 30 years.
She was a member of New Hope Fellowship Nazarene Church in Palm City.
She received her Associates degree from Houghton College where she toured with the college acapella choir and played on the womens college basketball team.
She was a five gallon blood donor with American Red Cross.
She was an avid gardener, reader, knitter and she enjoyed crocheting.
She was always making people smile and telling jokes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Snedeker; sister, Esther Robas; and grandson, Robert Gibbs.
Survivors: daughters, Esther McIntyre of Stuart, FL and Alberta Sandoval of Deltona, FL; sons, Peter Snedeker of Thomasville, NC; Nicholas Snedeker of Stuart, FL; sister, Ethel Lawton of Albany, NY; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Services: Memorial services will be held at 7 PM, Monday, February 12, 2007 at New Hope Fellowship Nazarene Church.
