MIRIAM KULYAN HETTINGER
April 8, 1940 - August 31, 2016

Miriam Kulyan Hettinger passed away on August 31, 2016 at Martin Memorial Hospital. Miriam was born to Milan and Marie Kulyan in Chicago on April 8, 1940. Loving wife of Fredric Lee Hettinger, Miriam is survived by Fred, her sister Dorothy Hunt, her three sons Kyle, Kirk and Keith and their wives, and eight grandchildren. In raising three boys, Miriam led an exciting life. This excitement included: 4 pet dogs, 7 pet fish, 14 pet snakes, 1 pet hamster, attendance at 34,362 sporting/scouting/church youth events, 27 family vacations to the Keys, 11 moves, 1 indoor rocket launching (unsuccessful), and 1 fire department rescue involving a gumball machine. Through all of this excitement, Miriam was a patient mother, loving wife and absolutely selfless in her love of family and friends. This love for others was born of her deep faith in Jesus Christ.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 10 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. The funeral follows a Visitation time at 10:00am at the Funeral Home. All are welcome.
